Tour Plan

Day 1

McLeod Ganj to Triund (9 km | 5–6 hours)

  • Altitude: 2,875 meters

  • Stay: Camp at Triund

Itinerary:

  • Start your trek from Dharamkot or Bhagsu Nag after a short briefing.
  • The trail winds through oak, deodar, and rhododendron forests with occasional tea stalls.
  • Reach Triund Hill in the afternoon and enjoy stunning views of the Dhauladhar Range.
  • Evening snacks, dinner, and overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 2

Triund to Lahesh Cave (6 km | 5–6 hours)

  • Altitude: 3,300 meters
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Stay: Camp near Lahesh Cave

Itinerary:

  • Begin your trek early with breakfast.
  • Pass through Snowline Café and Ilaqa Got meadows.
  • Continue ascending towards Lahesh Cave, a natural rock shelter.
  • Reach the base camp for Indrahar Pass by evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 3

Lahesh Cave to Indrahar Pass & Return to Ilaqa Got (12 km round trip | 7–8 hours)

  • Altitude: 4,342 meters
  • Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner
  • Stay: Camp at Ilaqa Got

Itinerary:

  • Start before sunrise for the final push to Indrahar Pass.
  • The trail becomes steep, with rocky ridges and snow patches (seasonal).
  • Reach the pass and enjoy breathtaking views of the Chamba Valley, Pir Panjal, and Kangra Valley.
  • Spend some time at the top, then begin your descent to Ilaqa Got.
  • Dinner and rest at the campsite.

Day 4

Ilaqa Got to McLeod Ganj (12 km | 5–6 hours)

  • Stay: Not included (End of trek)

Itinerary:

  • Enjoy a peaceful morning in the mountains.
  • Begin your descent from Ilaqa Got to Triund and onward to McLeod Ganj.
  • Reach McLeod Ganj by afternoon — trek ends with unforgettable memories.
